At UP English School France we have been committed to following a quality process since our creation in 2015. Following the publication of the French Labour Code Article L6316-3 in 2018, the French government created a reliable and unique label to certify course quality and delivery for skills development initiatives: the Qualiopi quality guarantee label, which became compulsory for training funding via My Personal Training Account, as well as for public funding, as of 1st January 2022.
On 31st August 2021, we obtained the Qualiopi quality label issued by the certifying body Qualitia, the monitoring certification on 25th August 2023 and our Qualiopi label renewal on 31st August 2024.
Our Training Course Validation Procedures
Once learners have completed our personalised professional training programs, of which a key component is continuous assessment, trainees receive a certificate attesting to their speaking skills. In addition, they also undergo an assessment conducted by an independent body (LanguageCert, CLOE, or Gymglish), which 100% of our trainees pass, ranking their language skills on the CEFR grid (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
The choice of assessment body depends on the program, modalities, and objectives of each training course.
Certification is compulsory at the end of each training course.
We have chosen the LanguageCert LTE Test because:

it assesses language skills in listening, reading comprehension and speaking.
-
the level assigned to trainees at the end of the test corresponds to the level we assign to them following our end-of-course speaking assessment.

it is very comprehensive (the audio test contains different accents in a variety of situations).
-
LanguageCert provides trainees with practice tests to help them familiarise themselves with the exam format.
-
the test is administered at our testing centre.
-
trainees receive a certificate recognised by the British Home Office attesting to the level achieved.
-
LanguageCert is a renowned, globally recognised organisation providing trainees with a quality certification recognised not only in Europe but also throughout the world.
As a LanguageCert testing centre, we can organise upon request an individual or group exam on our premises within 72 hours.
LanguageCert LTE Certification
CLOE Certification
We have chosen the CLOE Test because:
-
it assesses language skills in listening, reading, and speaking.
-
the level assigned to trainees at the end of the test corresponds to the level we assign to trainees following our internal end-of-training assessment in speaking.
-
it is very comprehensive (the audio test contains different accents in various situations), and trainees can choose a language specialisation related to their profession.
-
the Chamber of Commerce provides registered trainees with access to a training platform and a practice test to familiarise themselves with the format of both parts of the test.
-
it is practical. The first part of the test (reading and listening) is administered at the trainee's home (or at our centre if trainee's do not possess the necessary equipment). The second part (the oral production assessment) is conducted via video conference with a CLOE examiner, on our premises (a "pre-test" practice session is offered to candidates prior to the exam).
-
trainees receive a detailed statement on each skill assessed, as well as a certificate (if the end-of-training objectives are met), recognised by the French government, attesting to their level of proficiency.

Gymglish Certification
We have chosen the Gymglish Test because:

it assesses language skills in listening and reading comprehension.

the level assigned to trainees at the end of the test corresponds to the level we assign to them following our end-of-training speaking assessment.

it is very comprehensive (the audio test contains different accents, in various situations), and trainees can choose a language specialisation related to their profession.

it is fun because each part of the test composes a story which allows trainees to distance themselves from the assessment aspect.

it is practical. The test is administered at the trainee's home or at our centre if the necessary equipment is not available, and at the trainee's own pace (either in a single session or over several sessions).

it is perfect for people with disabilities because the pace of the test is flexible.

trainees receive a certificate recognised by the French government attesting to their level.
